Main difference between Infinity and Freedom packs:
1. Infinity pack has box maintenance coverage. Freedom has service engineer visit charge free (hardware charges applicable).
2. Infinity pack has many service channels. Freedom has only icooking. (No Miniplex etc.)
3. Infinity has no monthly subscription option. Freedom has monthly packs.
4. Sun channels can be availed for free on Infinity Pack free topup. In Freedom pack Sun channels are only available via paid topups.

Economy Sports has been discontinued.
Anyway I think the difference is ES has English news and few English Entertainment and English Movie channels. 299 Freedom does not.
Also ES has 2 free regional add-ons. Freedom 299 has almost all regional channels in base pack itself.

if the channels are same then i think freedom pack 2911/- (12 M) is better than infinity pack 3220/- (12 M)

You may be right! It seems Freedom 299 is better than Infinity Sports ROI in terms of price.

No info now. Maybe it will be released in future. Only available in selected cities.

I did recharge of RS 198 but plan didn't activated got sms "Request for activating airtel digitalTV long duration pack could not be processed due to technical reasons. Pls call 4448080".
Then 198 rs added to my main account and validity increased.
