Finally the wait is over. Yet another happy news for Marvel Fans along with the announcement of 8 upcoming projects.
Marvel and Disney have announced that the new global cume for Avengers: Endgame was $2.7892 billion in raw grosses. That puts it $500,000 away from the $2.7897 billion global cume of James Cameron’s Avatar during its theatrical release in 2009 and 2010.
Marvel's 'Avengers: Endgame' Tops 'Avatar' At The Worldwide Box Office
Edit: Confusion clearing
According to Hollywood website Deadline, there is currently a gap of 500,000 dollars (Rs3.44 crore) in global ticket sales between Avatar and Endgame, and the latter will click past that tomorrow.
Avengers: Endgame finally beats James Cameron’s Avatar to become highest-grossing film of all time

I didn't knew Avatar re released.
If it wasn't for Avatar's reissue, the record was broken a month ago.

Avengers: Endgame passed the unadjusted global come of the initial Avatar late 2009/early 2010 reissue about a month ago. Avatar earned around $36 million worldwide during a global end-of-summer reissue back in August of 2010. So whatever funny business may be responsible for pushing Endgame over the top, it’s only due to a reissue that Avatar kept the record this long.
