Happy to see that a genuinely good film like Badhaai Ho has grossed nearly as much as a faltu film like TOH. Honestly, a film with the two lead actors of Dangal + the director of Dhoom:3 + the backing of YRF should not have failed like this.

Moral of the story: If a film releases on a Thursday, it is going to be either a huge hit or a huge flop, not somewhere in between. There were a few expectations from both TOH and NE but they were unmitigated disasters. OTOH, nobody expected Badhaai Ho to succeed the way it has.
