anyone else think BARC is padding these numbers up to benefit the channels? There's no way that the NTO has not impacted these guys' viewership.

After many sorrowful months Colors is back. Zee TV is tumbling, where it was generally ahead of or not far behind Star Plus. Star Bharat is a shadow of its former self; Star Plus is cannibalising all the viewers from Star Bharat. The two Sony channels are doing good, especially SET.

Bro colors is increased only because of khatron ke khiladi grand finale.....colors actual test will start from next week

No they are not padding numbers up....earlier befor NTO hindi gec topper star plus used to get 190-200 grp & look at current topper star plus grp 170....so definately all channels are impacted because of NTO

The topper was often Zee TV/Zee Anmol. After the change Star Plus has become No. 1 by a huge margin and Zee TV has slipped badly, not to mention Star Bharat, which has slipped even more badly.

Bhai Tariff Order has nothing to do with manipulation in recording of data, this has been happening and even reported numerous times or kept hidden too. Even advertising agencies know about this and do not entirely book slots based on it. I never trust specially news channel ratings, these change across regions due to variety of factors

Bro before trai rules topper was always zee anmol in U+R & it is followed by star utsav ,star plus nd then zee tv(most of times).....& in urban area most of time topper is star plus,& it is followed by sony/zee/colors but here im saying in urban area topper(star plus) used to get approx 190-200 grps but after NTO this range is decreased from 200 to 170

Data regarding Hindi channels are completely urban data. Zee tv performs well in rural , so the combined trp will be more or less closer to that of star plus' combined trp. Zee tv shows are slot leaders in six slots, which clearly explains the rest.
