dont buy any costly stb because dd free dish lounch new stb soon u can buy mpeg2 stb Price is 500 to 900 in online or local market .u search fta channel in this stb only ..like dd all channel ,9xm,9x jalwa,mix,mtv tunes,b4u music movies,sony wah,rishtey,cineplex,star utsav, movies,zee anmol,cinema and most popular news channels

I have been reading those news since last 1.5 year . Finally few days back i bought melbon mpeg4 stb

Bro, why you want to spend money on new STB,just do unique recharge of Rs1179 on existing Dish TV and subsribe to 3 years FTA channel pack from DishTV,you need not pay any money for 3 years

With a FTA box he can watch DD Free Dish and may be some other satellites later on for free. My cousin purchased a FTA Set Top box in 1000 Rs in 2006 and it is still in his use for Asiasat 7S + DD Free Dish

may u r right, its 3 yrs free, but then no guaranty about dish tv, they can anytime withdraw offer, and after recharge 1179- still missing a lot fta channel in current dish tv platform, but dd free dish whole life free fta channels

ur right, ind- sa series coming, using all sports pack, but Ten 1,2,3 are gone, at least i can watch odi & t20 in dd free dish

if DD launch new stb soon, then is it necessary to buy stb from DD ministry or open market
