Channels added by tatasky after mpeg4 migration

What will be the number of channels increase after MPEG 4 migration , some people asked that each transponder carry 50 sd channels in MPEG 4 formet so that means near future tatasky provide atleast 500 channels in existing transponder
Calculation=
9 SD TPs = 9*50 = 450 SD channels
2 HD TPs = 2*13 = 26 HD channels
1 TPs SD/HD = 16 SD channels & 9 HD channels
Total = 501 SD/HD channels
this calculation is right or wrong please help us

Not possible to have 50 channel per tp

No they can carry only 25 to 28 channels in MPEG-4 TPs in good quality.

But some expert says that tatasky do it that work i mean they added each tps max 45-50 channels but good quality they added 35+ channels on each tps because tatasky allredy provide 12 hd channels on only 1 tps and other dth player provide max 8 hd channels on each tps

They can easily transmit 35 to 40 sd channels per transponder.
