Don't know whether i can post this message in this thread.
Shall i get DD channels in Terrestrialmode in chennai nowadays. Is it stopped or not yet.
If it is available means, what are the channels i will get. Shall i get ind sa cricket odi matches in that one.

i have CRT, i don't know what dtt i have to buy and also i want to watch tomorrow's match.
The question i have is DD sports available in chennai terrestrial?(like 1980-1990's way)

In 90s it was analog transmission which was available til few days back.
Now analog transmission is stopped in many cities by DD.

DTT is Digital Terrestrial Transmission which transmits five DD channels including DD sports.
DTT is available in around 20 main cities of India.
You can get these channels if you have DVB T2 tuner set top box and an indoor antenna.

Most of the new TV models has inbuilt DVB T2 tuner hence only indoor antenna required for these TV sets.

Terrestrial Transmission Of Analog ( Means Olden Days Of Transmission ) is not Officially Stopped By Government as per my Knowledge...

Now Digital Trasmission( DTT ) Started Around 20 Cities But to get these DTT signals you have to buy Equipment..

But for Analog Signals You dont need buy STB/Anything
If you are living around 1-2km radius of your TV tower then you dont any Normal Tv antenna
Just try auto search it will get the Channel Otherwise Just Connect a wire ( Not Cable Dish wire -- Use Current wire to TV and leave the other end of wire to Outside of Home Towards TV Tower ) and then Auto search.Then It will Get..

I reside in Ongole ...Living around 1 KM of TV Tower.Getting DD National without antenna..Just Connected a 2m wire to TV
Cricket Matches Coming ...in DD Sports...
Normal Transmission in DD1
