They are not charging extra fee for those channels, means we have to pay the same ncf(130+tax) if we take 1 channel, 10 channels or 144 channels the cost remains same(for FTA channels) .Then why bothering about its number?

Sun Direct didn't add gst for a la carte pay channels...

So, they're giving 18% GST discount for channel price and they don't offer bouquets?

Feels like they don't have an idea on the implementation. The current changes are just for sake to show before trai.

I think sun Direct can't implement by Feb 1 and they're waiting for trai to extend deadline.

GST is added. Just add a ₹ 19 channel, price increases from ₹153 to ₹175 (increases by ₹22). So no such discount.

If sundirect doesn't provide discount on suntv, we will not subscribe to it.
Unlike zee/star/sony which have expensive alacarte and cheap bouquet.
Sun group has expensive alacarte and expensive bouquet.
