Viacom 18's flagship Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) Colors has bagged the top position in viewership in the urban Hindi speaking market for the entire fiscal year 2017-18.
According to a data released by Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India (HSM Urban; NCCS 2+; FY 2017-18: Week 14 ’17 – Week 13 ’18), the average weekly gross viewership of the channel is 394 million impressions.
Star Plus bagged the second spot with 379 million impressions, followed by Zee TV on the third position with 352 million impressions.
Sony Entertainment Television claimed the fourth position with 305 million impressions, whereas Sony’s comedy channel Sab TV stood at number five with 284 million impressions.
