Doordarshan Aizawl & Delhi said the channel is fully prepared to broadcast election related programmes including Live Discussion and Live Reporting.
Besides the programmes that have been aired by Doordarshan Aizawl concerning the forthcoming election from quite sometimes ago, Delhi Doordarshan Team has also arrived here to cover the electoral process.
A programme called ‘Janvani’- the voice of the people regarding Election is also to be broadcasted on November 19 between 10:00-11:00 pm from DD News Channel. The same programme will be broadcasted again the next day at 4:00 pm. The Doordarshan team has also prepared a youth programme named Gen-X which is to be telecast later when the election is over.
Delhi Doordarshan News Team and Aizawl Doordarshan News Team have also installed a Satellite uplink device – DSNG in Aizawl and Lunglei, which is to be used for broadcasting most relevant news on the Mizoram Assembly election.
As mamy Live Discussion and Live Reporting is planned to be telecasted, the official sources mentioned.
Doordarshan Aizawl has organized different programmes relating to the upcoming Assembly Election which includes a programme titled ‘Inthlanpui thukhawchang’ (Discussion on Election) telecasted every night at 7:30-8:00 pm.
