DD testing DD HD on DTT

Anyone from Hyderabad using DTT service? Is it the right time to invest in DVB T2 STB?

If your TV is only 3-4 year old, it might have in built DVB T2 tuner. Check menu in your TV, It might have Digital setup. In this case you only require an indoor antenna which may cost just Rs. 600 available online.

Earlier there were 18 channels in total. Most of the DD channels, Three AIR Radio Channels, Loksabha and Rajyasabha TV.
Now only five main DD chanels (DD Nationa, DD News, DD Kisan, DD Sports and DD Bharati), Three AIR Channels (FM Gold, FM Rainbow and AIR Punjabi) and DD HD.

It looks like HD channel is replaced with ten SD channels for Cricket and Football.

This is in Delhi. I can't say about other cities.
