DishNXT resolution issue

I've Sony bravia 40 inch Full HD tv and having DishNXT box but everytime i turn on Dishtv it shows 720p resolution if i select 1080i and turn off dishtv and turn it on it again shows 720p why it doesn't show 1080i? Every time I've to select resolution please help

Even I am facing Same issue.. Complained the same to cc.. They said will Arrange engineer visit.. But problem is with box... Engineer will not able to solve it only solution is software update

I've complained to CC they sent technician he changed the set top box and HDMI cable also but yet i have that issue... guys pplease tell me is it by default or i am having this issue.

It's Not A HDMI cable Issue ... I have 2 HDMI cables.. actually early starting dishnxt hd supports 1080P 60 HZ ... Yes.. not 1080i.. but after ota update 2.99 this issue happened
