I don't a brand can be used by two groups/competitors.Moreover in uk espn brand is licensed to bt sports another rival of sky.

Btw hope you remember that abp group by launching sananda tv started exit of star in news business.So Sony and BT group may end their agreement with espn.

Also espn is not disney owned fully.
