Though I'm agree with 1st part (ESPN HD>SS HD2), 2nd part isn't fully correct. India cricket generally were in English on SS & in Hindi on SC. SS HD1 (or SS1 HD) is/was never a 'Hindi' channel. So it's not SC>SS1 but SS>SS1 & SC>SS3>SS1 Hindi.
Also ESPN part was not that simple. Though ESPN HD>SS HD2 but after Star decided to launch 2 more sports HD channels (in turn 4 HD channels became mirror channels of their SD versions), ESPN HD / SS HD2 > SS HD4 (later SS 4 HD).
In that way, current SS2 HD isn't ESPN HD.
