HD channels on 4K tv 55inch

I suggest that you go for Sony 4k hdr android tv. Get a d2h 4k box. Best quality possible. For 4k content get a netflix 4k subscription. Add a high end bose home theater. You will have a rocking set up.

I have a technical point hear , after Airtel 4k android stb , buying android tv doesn't make any sense.
Android tv costs you 2.5 laks with 4k ( 55 inch) , instead we can go for non smart tv and Airtel android 4k stb .

One more points in budget points of view Im and Panasonic are almost same so i suggested Panasonic , Sony is good if we have high budget.

Bye the way your suggested setup budget will be around 5 to 6 laks

Hi Team,

I am using V D2h HD many years and I have 32inch full HD tv at present. I am planning to buy 43 inch 4K or 55 inch 4K.

I want to know how will be the output of d2h HD channels in big screen ?

How will be SD channels in big screen ?

Is there any uplacaing happens and put out is good for SD or HD Channels?

As per my room viewing tv distance will be 12 ft.

Most of the branded TVs have good upscaling engine to upscale FHD content to 4K Im not sure abt Mi TV. Upscaling works best on Bluray content however for DTH the quality is already low still it ll be better than no upscaling at all. So please confirm whether Mi has an upscaling engine or not. Plus if you are movie buff you can always download 4K movies and watch almost all hollywood movies are in 4K now plus u can get most of the titles after year 2000 in 4K.

Sony, Samsung, LG, Philips, Panasonic are all good brands. These are all premium. Not sure if Mi is premium or budget.

I have 4k Airtel android box , may be i can help you checking it, but i don't have 4k tv

By the way Panasonic has two kind of product 1 economic 2 premier, so can go for economic and it will match IM price.

Good . So even input from stb 1080p Sony tv show info show 4k resolution that is very good i don't know this function exists.

Well, I've Sony 4K 55" (3D) since Jan'15 and D2h 4K STB active for 2.5 years.
The 4K contents (CWC'15 & Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie) were simply awesome. It could only be felt, can't be explained!!!
Now I have TS HD STB for the last 7-8 months. Though DDF friends says, TS HD PQ is better than D2h but I would like to differ! Maybe D2h 4K STB have some edge over TS HD STB.

@coolguymd0810 bro, you should definitely go ahead with 4K. Though there's not much 4K contents right now but FIFA WC'18 & CWC'19 (at least India matches) will definitely be on 4K.
