True. Only TS and Airtel. Possibly also Sun Direct. Moreover, only the Star, Sun and Zee networks provide DD+ 7.1.
Star: All channels except Fox Life HD (5.1), and Nat Geo People HD/Nat Geo Music HD/Baby TV HD (all stereo).
Zee: &TV HD and &pictures HD. The other Hindi and English channels have 5.1. The regional channels have stereo audio.
Sun: Sun TV HD, Sun Music HD, Gemini TV HD only.

Airtel provides a fairly accurate list of channels having DD+ 7.1. It adds 7.1 only on those channels where the broadcaster provides 7.1. Tata, on the other hand, will add its own DD+ audio on almost all channels where the broadcaster supports only 5.1 for that channel. This is especially true for Sony channels.
