Its an old thread

So i have few queries

1> for jio to watch on TV is compulsory for be smart tv/or say its android .Mine is normal one

2> what gadgets would be required to set up

3> would internet/broadband set up required.Should it be JIO only or any other like mtnl or hathway fiber service would do the job .As JIO has still not started jio fiberband services what are other hand

As you have normal tv. Assuming it has USB Option then buy Amazon FireStick.

You can Install JioTV App on device using APK File.

FireStick needs wifi connection to run it doesn't matter from which network.

You can connect TV with google Chromecast or amazon fire tv

two different solutions.

How does they are going to work ??? any thread/link/solutions

How am i going to connect to jioTV either using chromecast or Amazon FireStick. Both would require broadband right..

does using JIO tv either through chromecast or Amazon FireStick would cost data usage in my JIO number ????

last suppose i want to see some program of 7 pm at 10 pm on jio tv.it was possible in mobile as it was touch screen

But how can that be done on TV.would TV remote work ???

Via broadband jio TV don't work.. You have to connect jio hotspot in mobile or jiofi to tv. Amazon fire stick or google Chromecast will be convert your TV into a android device.(how android mobile will work) You will also get a remote. By the way you cannot touch the TV display right? That's why they're providing remote. Obvious yes data usage charges apply. Yes some program's you can watch it later

1> for jio to watch on TV is compulsory for be smart tv/or say its android .Mine is normal one - Yes, it has to be an android tv or Fire TV stick. In above thread i used normal android mobile version of Jio TV app, but android tv version is now available on apkmirror which works even better.

2> what gadgets would be required to set up - If you have an android tv, just connect it to WiFi, download and install Android tv version of JioTV app

3> would internet/broadband set up required.Should it be JIO only or any other like mtnl or hathway fiber service would do the job .As JIO has still not started jio fiberband services what are other hand - Jio is not mandatory, any broadband should work fine

4> Its there any other alternative method .apart from jio from which other`s i can use .. - Yes, but again it needs an android tv or Fire tv stick and I cannot share those methods here as it is illegal
