Discussion Is Star News relaunched?

Ok, it would be accepted (if possible) if logo is almost similar, but it never be tolerated if they follow the same name. Why this so called xerox copy of news channel is using Star News name? Star should take immediate action against this channel. Looks very strange, how MIB permit this kind of channels!!
One another thing, if it is a local channel, then why Jio TV adds them on their platform. They should be more conscious when they select channels. Star should also take an immediate action against Jio TV also for supporting (may be unwillingly) this kind of fraught. :knife:

Jio tv already added a local channel in Marathi genre called "Rangmanch". It airs youtube videos and some movies which they dont have official rights. So its not a big deal if they add more local channels in future

No. It's not Star News from Star India. They have no plans for launching news channels anytime soon.
It is ADN Star News, though logo is xerox copy of old Star News, it is only a local cable channel, not a satellite channel.

Star ended its alliance with ABP for Star News, Star Majha, and Star Ananda only because of this and then ABP (Ananda Bazar Patrika) continued the channels on its own with name ABP news ABP Majha ABP Ananda. Similarly while buying Asianet group of channels it could buy only Asianet, Asianet Plus, Asianet Movies, Suvarna & Suvarna Plus and Asianet continues with Asianet News and Suvarna News
