Issue in dolby digital sound over HDMI

It's better to go with some other model only because of this problem with STB. I have purchased this model just a week ago and regretting my decision.

Problem gone after connecting with optical cable. Brand-Amazon Basics.

Other benefits with this configuration -

1. Channel changing time also reduced slightly.
2. I can change volume level using airtel remote.

I had tried this setup without luck.L et me try it out with amazon branded cable now.

TV to HT ~ HDMI(ARC)

Even this as well I had tried. Problem is audio connection drops completely one or two times in every 15 to 25 minutes. Using optical cable this happened while switching channels. Using only HDMI, this happens when booting system itself 1/10 time. In both cases, on the occurrence of event, HT hangs completely.
