Jet Airways reschedules flights between Mumbai and Delhi

Private carrier Jet Airways recently said it has cancelled two of its Boeing 737 afternoon flights from and to Mumbai and Delhi on the account of closure of the runway at Sardar Vallabhai Patel international airport in Ahemadabad till June 15, 2011.To minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers, the company has decided to operate alternate flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Vadodara, the nearest airport during this period, a press release issued said.


As per the revised timings, flight 9W 2049 will depart from Mumbai at 2.15 PM and arrive Vadodara at 3.15 PM, while 9W 2050 will take-off from Vadodara at 3.45 PM and land in Mumbai at 4.45 PM. The flight from Delhi 9W 2064 will leave at 12.20 PM and arrive in Vadodara at 1.45 PM, while on the return leg flight 9W 2065 will depart Vadodara at 2.30 PM and land in Delhi at 4 PM. The release stated that it will operate all other flights, 9W 2509 to Indore-Bhopal-Raipur-Kolkata, 9W 338 to Mumbai, 9W 2002 to Mumbai, S2 124 to Delhi and S2 324 to Mumbai - as per schedule from Ahmedabad.
