Sad News Many Sony channels removed from Tata Sky due to breakdown in contract negotiations (Sony Six HD Readded)

Just saw my TS STB, it's very unprofessional and rude way of implementing this disconnection. No home channel messages, no scrolls, surprisingly a blank screen appears and the message appears after several minutes.

Many channels removed from stb over night.

This is the height of showing unprofessional behaviour being a topper in market. They will succumb soon.

Totally disappointed. Never expected this unprofessional implementation from TATA. SKY. Airtel is the 1000 times better. They implemented it very professionally. I will never ever refer anyone to buy Tata Sky.

Today when I returned home today I was shocked to see that many Sony channels have gone & for remaining to give miss calls. Luckily Miss call worked for me in one go & activated Sony HD, ten 1 HD, Aaj tak & pix HD.

Blaming TS alone is not done because they have given discontinution notice to V18 & Zee as well but not removed like this. Seems Sony has become arrogant due to their growing sports portfolio and mostly all of channels are doing well. But by doing this it's loss of all concerned people's we as a customers :angry:along with both parties involved it will dent on their brand image

There is a way to implement these disconnection. Tata Sky has taken the customers for granted.

The person who designed these kind of implementation should be fired. Worst of its kind.

It's to cause maximum damage to Sony's TRP that TS is making it difficult to access these channels. Legally they need to provide popular channels so they are allowing RIO subscription of few Sony channels. Sony can survive for a week of TRP loss after that their ad revenue will start declining. Star began negotiating with Airtel as soon as they were dropped from basepack, but Sony seems like they want to fight hard till weekend. Sony is saying customers are angry because our channels are too good, Tatasky will be saying Sony TRPs are declining because they are not giving discount to the largest DTH customer base. Basically both companies will be monitoring data for a week and then make deal according to facts.

I think deal is close. Sony and TataSky twitter accounts are less attacking now. Also Tatasky website RIO page is now showing error.
