NDTV has accused Discovery’s lifestyle channel TLC of misapropriately using the title of food reality show ‘Foodistan’, The Economic Times reported. Lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times had aired the show in January 2012.
NDTV, which also owns and operates a clutch of news channels including NDTV India and NDTV 24×7, said TLC has used the Foodistan title for a cookery show. This is in disregard of trademark protocols, ET quoted an official as saying.
