Because I wasn't born back then. Whenever cable use to go off. My mom switched to these DD Channels. It was depressing as hell. My house use to feel like someone died.

DD Direct on Private DTHs. Private Dths are happy to get NCF along with high priced channels.

Then also it's an 24X7 channels. Unlike other DD Regional channels whose transmission is blocked after 8 pm to 5-7 am. I wonder what would they air.
