If it is 4K supported box, it will be clearly specified.

All hevc boxes cannot support 4K.
(Similarly there are 4K boxes that cannot support HEVC encoded format )

4K and HEVC are totally unrelated.

So this is for advanced compression of channels, so that more channels can come without any decrease in picture quality. Not for 4K purpose.

to apply hevc on tp, every single HD box need to be upgraded to HEVC enabled box..
