Rating highlights: Top 3 Hindi GECsdrop viewership in exit week of 2014

The top three Hindi general
entertainment channels (GECs) have dropped
viewership in the last week of 2014.

Only Life OK and SAB reported viewership gains,
as per TAM data (sourced from subscribers) for
the week ended 27 December.

The pecking order, however, remained
unchanged.

Here is how the Hindi GECs performed:
Genre leader Star Plus dropped below 600 GVMs
(gross TV viewership in million). It ended the
week with 596 GVMs, down from 637 GVMs.

Colors was at No. 2 with 492 GVMs, down from
500 GVMs in the previous week.

Zee TV was at No. 3 with 427 GVMs, down from
474 GVMs.

Life OK was at No. 4 with 329 GVMs, up from
327 GVMs.

SAB was at 5th place with 320 GVMs, up from
310 GVMs.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) was at 6th
with 237 GVMs, down from 240 GVMs.

Zindagi was at No. 7 with 29 GVMs, down from
32 GVMs.

Sony Pal was at No. 8 with 23 GVMs, down from
25 GVMs.

Sahara One was at 9th place with 13 GVMs, up
from 11 GVMs.

Epic was at the bottom with 5.3 GVMs, up from
4.5 GVMs in the trailing week.
