Ratings highlights: Zee TV slips to No. 3

MUMBAI: Zee TV, which had gained on the back of world TV premiere of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Happy New Year’ in the previous week, has slipped back to third spot. Colors has returned to its No. 2 rank. The top Hindi GECs, except Star Plus and SAB, have seen a fall in their viewership in the week ended 7 February.
As per TAM data (sourced from subscribers) for the Hindi-speaking markets, Star Plus gained 29 GVMs (gross television viewership in million), ending the week with 645 GVMs.
Here is how the Hindi GECs performed:

Star Plus was at the top with 645 GVMs, up from 616 GVMs last week.

Colors was back at No. 2 with 454 GVMs, down from 477 GVMs last week.

Zee TV fell to No. 3 with 451 GVMs, down from 485 GVMs.

Life OK was at No. 4 with 310 GVMs, down from 338 GVMs.

SAB was at No. 5 with 294 GVMs, same as the previous week.

SET was at No. 6 with 236 GVMs, down from 263 GVMs in the previous week.

Sony Pal was at No. 7 with 26 GVMs, down from 29 GVMs.

Zindagi was at No. 8 with 18 GVMs, same as last week.

Sahara One was at No. 9 with 10 GVMs, up from 8 GVMs.

Epic was at No. 10 with 7.7 GVMs, down from 8.1 in the previous week.

MUMBAI: The success of number two position was just limited for a week for the general entertainment channel (GEC), Zee TV as it went back to its number three position in week six of TAM TV ratings. The channel observed a huge fall and scored 451 million GVTs, down from 485 million GVTs.
