Scv has nominal rates for customers like 190 for Tamil pack, p3 pack at 0.10 , Tamil add on for 20, hd Channel s at 73.75. At 290 you can watch all SD and HD channels but lco spoils it all. All those above prices are for customers and for operators it is way below. This info was given by one of our forum members.

but when i asked for hd channels in scv they told all hd channels comes around 250 rs + normal package(eg 161.14+15% tax).

Yes, these prices are for customers and LCO's will definitely get 25-30% commission. LCO's increasing the price will spoil the MSO name. VK has 2 Packs, Rs 160 & Rs 200 but LCO's offer the same Rs 200 pack to every one but charge Rs 250 for SD STB & Rs 300-350 for HD STB.

VK never promotes their package nor STB price and LCO's take this for granted and charge as they please. Till date VK has not informed its subscribers about the cost of STB & Package cost. LCO's are going to keep on increasing the charge and one day will match DTH price and every one will abandon local cable and will move to DTH.

Already half of the people moved to DTH and LCO's dont seem to care.

No change in scv analogue, Puthiya thalaimurai moved to last slot. After change to fiber my last slot clarity in analogue.

No idea if Analogue will ever fall in Chennai. I think it might take another 2 months (Sep) for Arasu to procure and distribute STB that too only if there are no further delays.
