SM2 errors.

From last two months many airtel digital TV subscribers facing the problem of error code SM2.

Here is some help for them :

I am writing this on my own experience dont giving any guarentee.

==> SM2 error is technical error.

==> Swith off the STB from Meins and reinsert the smart card. Restart the system.

Problem Yet not solved ?

==> Check ur dish position is correct or not.

==> U can check ur dish position is corrct or not this way :

Go to : www.dishpointer.com enter ur position chose the sat INSAT4cr or Protostar(ses7).

==> Call the CC and tell them to refresh ur accont and wait for 5 minutes online if problem not solved yet then CC will forward ur complaint and will give u some time in during that time engineer will visit ur home and will sort problem. (it will be chargeble)
 
yes , mostly Problem come on inset 4 cr and all new activation and installation on ses7,
many times problem solved by cc and some time we need to set dish on ses7 for solution,
 
Ya but many of us missing ur favourite programme due to dis stupid error.
 
sm1 is satellite migration error but dont know about sm2?
