Star HD channels showing Dolby digital plus

I'm not getting audio on star movies and star sports HD3 if the audio is set to Dolby Digital Plus. I had to change it to Dolby Digital to get audio.

I'm using Sony home theater, it's only 5.1. But still I don't understand the no volume thing. Even though the TV or HT doesn't support Dolby Digital Plus there should be audio.

Are you getting audio for Star Plus HD, Star Gold HD & Star World HD as Dolby Digital Plus (hdmi)

Dolby Digital plus is fully backward compatible & you will get good quality Dolby digital (640 kbps) audio through hdmi or optical.

No, those three channels also doesn't produce audio as Dolby Digital Plus.
