At the Vivo-IPL player retention event, Star India Managing Director Sanjay Gupta said: “The IPL has come to the rightful home of Indian cricket”.

Recently, Star India won the IPL media rights for five seasons (2018-22) for ₹16,347.50 crore. The Star India Chairman and CEO Uday Shankar said the money was not outrageous.

1. Would be telecasted in 10 TV channels and 6 languages(Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali).
2. Would be live on hotstar without any delay.
3. There will be separate super fan feed, may be on star select?

stadium camera, camera view was once a feature in DISH TV DTH at the start of DTH era, there are also ACTIVE channels which showing different camera angles with in the stadium , I dont think they are going to re invent that again.
Regarding the money paid 16000 ct is very high, because IPL is a failing product. Fan following has not increased but reduced in years , you can see empty seats in stadium itself . If they show the sport good that is fine . Dont spoil like EPL

Star India eyes 700 mn viewers from IPL T20

IPL T20 matches in six different language this season, targeting 700 million viewers across TV and digital platform. Star would also live stream matches on its digital platform Hotstar in virtual reality.
The regional languages include Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali besides the regular Hindi and English. “The Vivo IPL 2018 will be a six-month long fiesta with new age technology putting fans at the heart of experience. We are confident that the Vivo IPL 2018 as reimagined by Star India, will empower viewers, advertisers and the media and entertainment ecosystem,” Star India Managing Director Sanjay Gupta told reporters here.
