Stb for dish TV antennae

I moved to dish TV hd, but old dish antennae remains with me. I would like to know which stb will suit this antennae? My budget is very minimum and best quality. Lot of FTA Tamil channels tracking. Guide me

hi, u can use any brand FTA mpeg4 stb to get fta channels from ur old dish antenna. but only 2 FTA tamil channels available with small dish.....

So the old dish tv antennae can catch only Ku band signals right? What about old Airtel antennae will that catch c band signals? So that I can watch more Tamil FTA channels

If i buySOLID HDS2-6363 fta stb,will i be able to track intelsat 17 in ku band. Is thereany way that i can track c band in old dish tv or adtv antennae?

Hi, not possible with small ku band dish (airtel, dishtv, sundirect...whatever). only way to catch intelsat 17, u need minimum 6 feet dish... SOLID HDS2-6363 fta stb is good for home use. also need c band lnb......

its not like that.. small size antenna is not enough to catch c band signals. because c band signals are very weaker than ku band signals.
