That is The Reason They have given HVEC setup box For customers HVEC means High Efficiency Video Coding more space for Adding Chnnels

If I'm not wrong has of now they are giving hevc based tech. for hd stb only not in for sd stb

I did some homework on pending channels here i want to share with you
I have compared all dth the results are
Tamil
Sun direct Available 27
Other Dth Available-59
32 channels pending
Telugu
Sun direct Available 27
Other dth Available 49
22 channels pending
Kanada
Sundirect available 17
Other dth available 25
Malayalam
Sundirect available 21
Other dth available 34

So feel priority is more for south regional channels as of now the operator to sustain so here is a small comparison
Note this is only regarding sd channels only not hd

I think atleast 3 tps are required to handle them lets see and wait for @RajaChennai for his post
