Tata Sky Super lnb is dcss 24 so one can connect 24 stbs by using a Multiswitch in one super lnb.

Then what u said what technician said was right that if one STB is OFF i wont get signal on other STB

Update:

My signal issue has been solved today. They changed the whole cable and replaced with new one. I wanted to fix it before rainy season starts.
