The Apps button launches Tata Sky Actve services page so basically they renamed the button.

Frankly speaking, there was no need to rename the buttons, except for Actve.
Showcase, Organiser are intact and hence they didnt need button changes.
And they could have renamed Actve button to Services.
Renaming it to Apps doesnt make sense as they are not Apps

I still dont understand why the buttons has been changed.

On Demand, Settings, and Apps ??? Showcase is still there and organiser is still there so no need to have changed the names.
Apps could have been renamed as services.
