What did the doctors say, brother ? Don't break down, you've lost just one eardrum there are people who loose both. Always take inspiration from such people. Stay positive! Best Luck.

Don't worry. It'll heal itself, don't allow water in the ear. If it doesn't heal automatically you can go for tymphanoplasty!

Don't be upset, I was in same situation till Sep, 2016. Left ear hearing was too much deteriorated. Went through 'Stapedomy' on 10th Sep'16. My hearing is totally improved since then.
Consult any good ENT specialist, you'll be fine.

Every problem has a solution dont over think bro. I too have some ear problem and depressed and thought 1 ear hearing is gone but not to be that's only my wild imagination. Consult an ENT specialist, youll be all right. All is well

Hearing gain will be gradual. It will take almost 6 months to 1 year to gain complete hearing capacity. Unfortunately, there's no solution for whistling sound (It's called tinitus). If it goes by it's own, well and good. Otherwise need to adjust to it.
