Hyderabad : The leading Telugu satellite channel ''Zee Telugu is all set to launch a new fiction soap in their evening time band at 6 pm from 9th February onwards.
The new show will be replacing their successful comedy show 'Gangatho Rambabau' which was running for the past two years.
''Iddharu Ammayilu'' comes with a caption ''Okaridi Poratam Marokaridhi Aaratam'' which means one man's struggle is other man's pleasure.
The story of ''Iddharu Ammayilu'' revolves around two Sisters Aparna (Suhasini) and Sneha (Vishnu Priya) with completely different mindset towards the life.
While Elder Sister (Aparna) accepts whatever she gets in her life, the younger Sister (Vishnu Priya) dreams high and aspires to achieving them at any cost. This contradicting characters of two sisters will be the driving force that drives them towards the destiny which is unthinkable.
Sources from Zee Telugu confirmed that the Actress Suhasini (Acted in movie Chantigadu) who is playing the lead role herself producing the serial for the first time under the banner ''Shiva Sai Visuals''.
'Shankarabharanam' fame Rajya Lakshmi and Popular film Actor Ranganath are playing the role of the parents of two sisters and popular small screen actor Ram Jagan as their brother.
Small screen hero Ravi Kiran is playing the male lead role as a handicapped yet talented person. The show will be aired on every Monday to Saturday.
According to the ratings of week 5, Zee Telugu stood at No. 2 among the Telugu GECs and scored 91733 GVTs against Maa TV topping the market with 106835 GVTs, while Gemini TV stood at No. 3 with 91093 GVTs followed by ETV Telugu at No. 4 with 87848 GVTs.
Zee Telugu has strong Fiction line-up that helps the channel to deliver a sustained and consistent numbers.
