Media conglomerate ZEEL has pushed the launch of its Punjabi GEC and regional movie channels to FY20.

ZEEL is looking to launch movie channels in Tamil, Kannada, and Bhojpuri markets.

Zee had lot of cash post sale of Ten network. It had plans to buy TV9 news network, 9x music network and even talks of BTVI was on but now all as fizzled out. Against which only Malayalam, & Flix, HD versions of regional channels were launched. Even Living channels haven't been launched as declared.
What is Zee doing? Or is it waiting for 2019 elections?

no bro news about both this south movie channels were surrounding from couple of months back, the problem is zeel announce but take years to launch

Zee have already a license for Punjabi region. They have Big Magic Punjab license. So, they may use this licence for their upcoming Punjabi GEC.
