Essel Vision Production, which has the company’s film and TV production business, is run by CEO Nitin Keni. Essel Vision, which currently produces Hindi, Marathi and Bengali films, plans to get into other regional markets like Telugu and punjabi.
ZEEL’s domestic broadcast business comprises 34 Channels across genres like GEC, movie, regional, English entertainment, lifestyle and music.
The company is looking to expand its channel bouquet by
launching regional HD channels in Marathi, Bengali and Telugu markets. It is all set to launch its first movie channel in South india with Telugu movie channel Zee Cinemalu on 4 September.
