Viacom18 appoints Rajesh Iyer to head Colors Bangla, Colors Odia, Colors Tamil and Colors Gujarati

Viacom18 today announced the appointment of Rajesh Iyer to head Colors Bangla, Colors Odia, Colors Tamil, and Colors Gujarati. He will take independent charge of the aforesaid channels and work closely with Ravish Kumar to expand the regional footprint of Viacom18 with Ravish continuing to head the network’s regional channels in Marathi and Kannada.

Rajesh Iyer was in the past associated with ZEEL’s broadcast leadership team and successfully launched their second Hindi GEC ‘&TV’ in 2015. He joined Network18 in 2019 and spearheaded new initiatives working closely with the leadership team. He has in the past worked with Viacom18 when he headed the marketing portfolio of the network’s flagship GEC Colors.
