If a show starts at 10:30 pm and 'Add to start recording' is set to 10 minutes, the recording of the show will start at 10:20 pm.

If Add to start recording is set at 10 minutes then the recording will start 10 minutes prior to the actual timing of the show while Add to end recording will continue to record for additional 30 minites even after the program timing has finished.

CA error that is Conditional Access means an error is causing the STB do not properly pair with the headend / server for recording feature to work

It's like pairing error that causes the digicard not to be paired with STB at times

Try heavy refresh and see if it works else contact CC
