Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

I think as every network have launched many movie channels now, movie sharing between networks has also increased to get new fresh content to there channels

No Problem is shared between Star, Zee & B4U

Zee has now decided to cut down on movie acquisition front and not be to aggressive in buying big budget movies

Now quite likely that in order to increase revenue they shall try to further expand its content sharing /syndication business across genres where they have presence on Linear TV .

Also on OTT / Digital front they will surely look to make Zee5 available on more Aggrgator platforms and focus more on Freemium model to earn revenue. Also now they r making lot of content be it Zee5 originals, Bollywood Movies, Zee Theatre Plays available on their respective Youtube Channels

No. Sharing will happen only for some movies owned by certain film library companies or maybe banners wherein broadcasters find it best to get such content at lower acquisition cost via this route......infact Disney-Star has been acquiring so many Bollywood, Dubbed South Indian, Dubbed Hollywood movies and mostly these r exclusive agreements.... Zee maybe willing to have more sharing based agreement to reduce content acquisition costs for improving its overall financial performance in coming future

Ultra Movie Parlour Youtube Channel adding many bollywood and dubbed hollywood movies on a regular basis, lot of these already renewed by Disney-Star and more likely to be added soon to their movie library.....keep checking the same to decode which of the movies might soon air on Disney-Star Hindi Movie Channels

I feel Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan (2024) will have TV premiere on Star Gold rather than Sony Max reason being that Sony may be reluctant in buying its rights at high cost as already they bought rights of Ganpath movie and continuosly postponing its TV Premiere maybe as they know it would get less ratings and trying to find a slot wherein there is minimal clash with popular films on other networks so as to gwt best possible ratings...... Also Disney-Star has a vast bollywood movie audience base compared to Zee, Sony, Viacom18 as one can see its scheduling largely features bollywood movies from which they get good viewership while other channels still largely focus more on dubbed South Indian Movies and Disney -Star may also well be more willing to buy rights of this movie , producers may also find it more attractive/beneficial to sell the TV rights to Disney-Star to reach out to wider audience base and earn better money from selling the rights to them..... Last minute change like happened incase of movies like Mission Raniganj and Dream Girl 2 may happen in this case too

Any update about who will premiere Viacom18 production movies Dunki and Fighter, i am quite certain that to earn more revenue Viacom18 would be wanting to see rights to some other broadcaster....also if i remember cortectly in some article last year Jio Cinema Senior Official had said that they won't be acquiring Digital rights of all movies Jio Studios makes hence i feel for TV rights too some movies from Jio Studios , Viacom18 may be sold to some rival network .

Maybe "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" too had such late OTT premiere as Jio Studios would be searching for a OTT platform to sell its Digital Rights considering movie was a hit but could be that they were not able to find a OTT partner willing to pay the amount they were wanting/asking for hence ultimately movie was released on Jio Cinema..... I ateast could find/think of any other reason why this movie had OTT premiere almost 1 year after its release

Right?

Where did i say so?

Coming to a conclusion based on selective reading thereby arriving at wrong interpretation of information being shared is not a correct thing

Request u read not just above post but other of my posts more properly so as to understand the context with which that statement has been made
