Airtel Digital TV expands its channel lineup with the addition of five channels

With these additions, Airtel Digital TV now encompasses a total of 93 HD channels along with 544 SD channels raising total count to 715 channels.

Bharti Telemedia-owned direct-to-home (DTH) service provider Airtel Digital TV (ADTV) has expanded its channel lineup with the addition of three HD and two SD channels on two consecutive days. ADTV has added Sun Marathi HD, Pravah Picture HD and Sony Sports Ten 4 HD on 16th February 2024, followed by the addition of Studio Yuva and Studio One Plus on the consecutive day.

Addition of three HD channels

After the addition of Zee Picchar HD last month and Asianet Movies HD on 9th February 2024, ADTV has further broadened its HD channel lineup with the addition of three HD channels.

Sun Network’s recently launched Marathi GEC Sun Marathi HD is available on LCN 526. Like its SD variant, Sun Marathi HD is a free-to-air (FTA) channel and ADTV has included the channel as a part of the base pack of the customers. Sun Marathi HD was launched along with Sun Bangla HD on 28th November last year by Sun Network, with the latter not available on the DTH platform yet.

Disney Star-owned Marathi movie channel Pravah Picture HD is available on LCN 532 on the platform. Pravah Picture HD was launched on 15th May 2022 along with its SD variant comprises a library of Marathi movies and caters the same to the viewers.

ADTV has also added Sony Sports Ten 4 HD on LCN 805. Heretofore, Tamil music channel Kalaignar Isaiaruvi was available on this LCN and with the addition of Sony Sports Ten 4 HD, Kalaignar Isaiaruvi was moved to LCN 808. Sony Sports Ten 4 and Sony Sports Ten 4 HD were launched by Culver Max Entertainment’s Sony Sports Network on 1st June 2021. The channel aims to provide sports content in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Two Telugu FTA channels also make their way to ADTV

On 16th February 2024, ADTV expanded its Telugu channel lineup with the addition of Studio Yuva and Studio One Plus on LCN 903 and LCN 937 respectively. Both the channels are free-to-air (FTA) and are incorporated in free bundles. With these additions, Airtel Digital TV now encompasses a total of 93 HD channels along with 544 SD channels with a whole of 715 channels.
