DTH updates 14 channls TP shuffling in Tata Play

So if they are shifting all channels from gsat24 to 30 , what was the need for promoting gsat24 satellite? Why the testing? Or that satellite only for testing only

On a side note, considering all new channels are getting moved to old satellite it proves they have space left in the existing satellites

What yaar only 1 channel shifted to Gsat30 . Pls don't post anything.

May be GSAT 30 will be used for SD channels and GSAT 24 for HD/4K channels.

Or may be they are using GSAT 10 untill its life, or may be these is something more to it which we cant think of

I also doubt the same. As per the ISRO page, it's only 11 years completed for GSAT 10. So mostly they will use it for another 2 years if no problems with the satellite performance. They will shuffle channels across the three sats to give best experience for us.

There must still be some issue in subscribers receiving signals from GSat 24 hence at present most old channels (those migrated from old to new satellite) as well as new channels r being made available on GSat 24 as well as GSat10 and GSat 30
