Today I recharged with the Tamil Value pack as base pack for 6 months. This is a 3rd party offer pack.
Third Party Packs:
All 3 month and 6 month DPO packs (Economy, Value, Super, Kushi, Silver, Gold, Prime Plus) for all languages are available in 3rd party apps/websites such as:
Paytm
Freecharge
Payapp
Amazon Pay
Airtel Payments Bank
I used Payzapp for recharging, which got me a Payzapp cashback of Rs.50 as well.
3rd Party Pack Price:
Tamil Value Pack (6 months) = Rs.1299 (Including GST)
Price Comparison:
I believe that this 6 month (180 days) pack is better than the Tamil Value (6 months + 14 days) pack available in the Sun Direct app/website, which costs Rs.1452 (including GST).
Price Difference:
1452 - 1299 = 153
So essentially, if we use the (6 months + 14 days) pack from the Sun Direct app/website, we will be paying Rs.153 for those extra 14 days.
However, the price of the Tamil Value Pack for 1 full month (30 days) is Rs.242 (including GST).
Meaning, even for 15 days, the cost should only be Rs.121. Instead, we will be paying Rs.153 extra, for just 14 days.
I wonder why Sun Direct does not provide these 6 month offer packs in their website/app.
