50* 3cr= 150 cr per year opportunity loss due to use in free dish, So why????????
better use as fta or online.

I think its sheer wastage if not properly promoted...Already DD has 3-4 edu channels which they cann't promote properly...

It will NOT violate Election model Code of Conduct. The scheme is already approved by Govt. Moreover, Prasar Bharti is an autonomous body, not directly linked with Central Govt.

And, u know, in May, LS Poll will be over.
