Usually this ticker services are scroll ads running below the channel.

In some cases Cricket Scores,Flash News like that we can get in the scroll feeds but not sure whether it's currently provided by any DTH operators but heard that it's available in the past.

So now only for ads and scroll info these tickers might be used.
