MUMBAI: Bollywood music channel 9XM has unveiled its first on ground event in partnership with Mirah Entertainment and Dome.
The musical concert is titled ‘9XM Dome Musically Yours Arijit Singh Live with Symphony Orchestra’.
A first of its kind in India, the symphony orchestra will be held on 5 July at 8 pm at the NSCI stadium in Mumbai.
Arijit Singh is the voice behind some of the most popular Bollywood songs like ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from Aashiqui 2.
9X Media marketing head Kapil Sharma said, “We are delighted to team up with Arijit Singh and launch 9XM’s live event offering.
Through this platform, we intend to provide music lovers a memorable experience and an opportunity to connect with their favourite music star and vice-versa.”
‘9XM Dome Musically Yours Arijit Live with Symphony Orchestra’ will also be aired through a special 30-minute episode on 9XM.
9XM programming head Baljinder Mahant said, “Our belief in providing the best of Bollywood music and entertainment has helped us to garner huge support from Bollywood music fans. Through ‘9XM Dome Musically Yours Arijit Singh Live with Symphony Orchestra’ concert, we will present to our viewers the first of its kind symphony concert here in Mumbai. We are confident that the fans will cherish this experience that the super talented singer and 9XM have envisaged for them.”
Going ahead, the channel plans to bring in more such live event offerings.
The concert will be promoted through a 360-degree campaign across print, radio and digital platforms.
