at present i have sdtv which have composite and component video connections but in 2-3 months i am going to buy hdtv
i want to buy hd setup box asap
so i ask where this will support my sdtv
i am not concerned about quality till get hdtv

can this settop box attached to my pc monitor which has dvi connection and i also have dvi to hdmi cable as well as for sound 3.5mm to rca converter

i have hdmi to dvi converter so it will work
but what about sound output
do av output can attached to my speaker as i have
red white to 3.5 mm converter
in simple word connection will look like this
settop box hdmi------->monitor for video(hdmi to dvi converter)
settopbox av-------->to computer speakers(red/white to 3.5 mm converter)
so i just want to ask whether this will work
