Shashi Arora, CEO - DTH/ Media, Bharti Airtel, says, "It is our endeavor to provide the best television viewing experience and we are in constant lookout for enhancing existing capacities. We have reached out to TRAI and ISRO for additional transponders and would be happy to have additional capacities either in GSAT 10 or any other satellite they may accommodate us on."

That's good news for ADTV Users !!

Nice share.

he s mad.Whats the use of G sat 10 for ADTV at 83E,ADTV broadcasts at 108E.
SES 3 already co located near SES 7 so they can have lots of TP space.SES 3 is fully unused satellite as far as KU TPs go.

I think he [ceo, Airtel], means they has given the application to ISRO for more tp. And may ISRO launch new sat. On their current position.

ADTV is not relying on ISRO as they got very bad experience on insat 4cr.They made wise arrangement with SES 7 and SES 3 also NSS 11 co located at same position with many vacant TP's
