So ADTV Also now Going in Loss Overall DTHs sector is in danger hope Both Airtel & Tata Both Join Soon or else OTT will destroy all paid DTHs.

Bleak future to DTH sector,DD free dish and OTT has killed this sector,I see no hope and in 4 to 5 years, there may be only 2 companies in market finally, but merger will not help, only losses may continue

Actually one needs to carefully decode the data, firstly revenues have seen increase if cpare both QoQ and Year On Year basis hence Airtel Digital TV is actually witnessing good growth..... Also EBIDTA and Capex both show positive trend which again is a good thing.... Now coming to aspect of subscriber base well Airtel Digital TV has had great growth in most of the quarters in last few years, right now the decline as compared to Q1FY25 maybe bcoz due to holiday season many people would have went yp holidays and not recharged their account which means this may be a temporary thing (TRAI rules state that a connection which remains deactive for a continuous period of 90 days will not be counted as part of Subscriber Base Count of A DTH Company)...... So wait n watch as we may see this just being a seasonal outcome rather than Airtel Digital TV actually losing so many customers, ofcourse few may have actually exited and i am not denying that....also recently when Airtel hiked its mobile plan / recharge charges alomgwith Vi and Jio so that too lead to lot of people shifting to BSNL and some of these would also have been Airtel Postpaid customers who would be enrolled under Airtel Black DTH plans hence it too would have lead to some erosion in DTH Subscriber Base
